AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 102 -31
OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA,
TO INCREASE THE WATER RATE BY 7.5% AND THE WASTEWATER RATE 13Y
12 %.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia, that Section 102 -31,
Article II, Chapter 102 of the Code of the City of Fairfax, Virginia is amended to read in its
entirety as follows:
Sec. 102 -31. - Water and wastewater service rates.
(a) The rate for water service furnished by the city shall be as follows:
(1) Residential consumers. For the first 5,000 gallons or less per quarter
$22.25 523.92 and per 1,000 gallons for all water in excess of 5,000 gallons

(2) Commercial consumers. For the first 5,000 gallons or less per month

(b) The rate for wastewater service furnished by the city shall be as follows:
(1) Residential consumers. For the first 5,000 gallons or less per quarter
