RESOLUTION NO. R -11 -45
CITY MANAGER
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSPORTAT ON AUTHORITY
TO SUBMIT TO THE NORTHERN VIRGINIA
THE FY2013 —18 CONGESTION MITIGATION AND AIR QUALITY AND
REGIONAL SURFACE TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM APPLICATIONS
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia at its regular
City Council meeting on October 12, 2010, that the City Manager is hereby authorized to
submit to the Northern Virginia Transportation Authority the requests for funding of the
following projects:
1. Kamp Washington Spot Improvements — RSTP — Amount requested $1.75M.
2. Chain Bridge Road Bridge Replacement — RSTP — Amount requested - $1.6M.
3. Northfax Storm Drainage and Intersection Improvements — RSTP — Amount
requested, $5.1M.
4. Old Town Streetscape Improvements — RSTP — Amount requested - $1.8M.
5. Reconstruction of Road Pavements — RSTP — Amount Requested - $2M.
6. Sidewalk Improvements — RSTP — Amount Requested - $2.5M
Total request is for $14,750,000.
