A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO SUBMIT TO THE
NORTHERN VIRGINIA TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY
THE FY2012 CONGESTION MITIGATION AND AIR QUALITY
AND REGIONAL SURFACE TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM
APPLICATIONS
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia at its regular
City Council meeting on October 12, 2010, that the City Manager is hereby authorized to
submit to the Northern Virginia Transportation Authority the requests for funding of the
following projects:
1. Incident Management Corridor Intersections Improvements (CMAQ Funds $185,000)
2. Critical Sidewalks for Construction (RSTP Funds $300,000)
3. Hybrid Boom Truck (CMAQ Funds $200,000)
Total request is for $685,000.
