APPROVAL OF A LEASE AGREEMENT WITH PNCEF, LLC DBA PNC
EQUIPMENT FINANCE FOR THE LEASE/PURCHASE OF A TORO
GROUNDMASTER 5910
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the FY2011 Capital Budget including the
lease purchase of a Toro Mower with annual payments of $18,951.93 to be paid for five
consecutive years, subject to annual appropriation by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, this mower is needed to adequately maintain playing fields and city
grounds while maximizing the effectiveness of the staff in the Parks and Recreation
Department
NOW, THERFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia, that the City Manager is authorized and directed to finalize and execute any
necessary documentation in connection with the above-referenced transaction, in form
approved by the City Attorney.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia hereby approves and ratifies each of the resolutions contained in that certain
Resolution and Certificate of Incumbency (Lease Number 137509000) to the extent not
already contained within this resolution.
The motion to adopt the resolution was approved on July 27, 2010.
