AN ORDINANCE GRANTING AN EASEMENT TO VERIZON VIRGINIA,
INC., ON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY AND
IDENTIFIED AS CITY TAX MAP NO. 57-2-02-175A, LOCATED OFF OLD
LEE HIGHWAY (THE COMMUNITY CENTER/POLICE DEPARTMENT
PROPERTY), AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
THE SAME.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX,
VIRGINIA (hereinafter referred to as "CITY") that an easement, in the form approved to
the City Attorney, is hereby granted to Verizon Virginia, Inc., over certain real property
owned by the City and identified as Tax Map No. 57-2-02-175A.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY, that the
City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute, with the concurrence of the
City Attorney, the necessary easements document(s).
This ordinance shall become effective as provided by law.
