TO SUBMIT TO THE
NORTHERN VIRGINIA TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY
THE FY2011 CONGESTION MITIGATION AND AIR QUALITY
AND REGIONAL SURFACE TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM
APPLICATIONS
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia at its regular
City Council meeting on September 22, 2009, that the City Manager is hereby authorized to
submit to the Northern Virginia Transportation Authority funding requests for the following
projects:
1 . Chain Bridge Road (Route 123)/Eaton Place Multi-Modal Intersection improvements
2. Route 29 Spot Improvements
3. Route 50/Jeex-iiiantown Road Widening and Intersection Hnprovem ents
4. Fairfax Boulevard (Route 50)and Chain Bridge Road Route 123~Intersection and
Drainage Improvements ((''
