A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
C[TY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, AND THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION,
FOR THE PROJECT KNOWN AS
THE PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING AND DESIGN
OF THE CHAIN BRIDGE ROAD (ROUTE 123)
BRIDGE REPLACEMENT
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia at its regular City
Council meeting on April 14, 2009, that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute,
on behalf of the City of Fairfax, an. Agreement with the Virginia Department of
Transportation, thereinafter called VDOT~, including any amendments thereto, provided that
the Agreement and the amendments are acceptable to the City Manager and approved as to
form by the City Attorney.
