ADOPTION OF ROBERT'S RULES OF ORDER
V\THEREAS, the City Council desires to conduct its meetings in an efficient and legal
ll"1anner;
NOVV. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby adopts
Robert:~.s Rules of Order .Nevvly Revised (10Lh Edirion) as its rules ofprocedure governing
parliamentary matters. Not-vvithstanding Robert"s Rules, hOV\Tever, a 1'\I1:0tio1"1 for
Reconsideration shall be proper through the next regularly scheduled meeting of the City
CounciL These rules shall apply except in cases in vv-hich they are inconsistent "VV'ith the
procedures of the City Council.
