CITY COUNCIL GOALS

V\THEREAS" the election of a ::M:ayor and City Council creates an opportunity for re-
examination of the direction for the community; al:-1d
'W'"HEREAS". voters in the City of Fairfax elect a 1\..1::ayor ar1d City Council every t-vvro
years; and
"W'HEREAS. the JV1ayor and City Council for the City of Fairfax. for 2008-2010 vvish
to set forth the direction of the city for the next tvv-o years;
NO"W'. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council establishes as its goals
for its 2008-2010 term of office:
1. Residential Rejuvenation
2. Stabilize and promote Dov..rntoVV'll Re-development
3_ Community Center
4. Fairfax Boulevard Re-Development
