RESOLUTION NO. R-OS-4S
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING
THE AlVIENDED CITY OF FAIRFAX:
BUDGET GUIDELINES AND FINANCIAL POLICIES
VV'HEREAS, the City Council provides policy direction to the City Staff in
preparation of the annual Budget through a series DE Budget Guidelines; and
VV'HEREAS, the City of Fairfax desires to h.ave a framevv-ork for fiscal decision
making for finan.cial management of the City; and
'\.VHEREAS, the City of Fairfax created and appointed a Budget Committee to V\Tork
V\Tith staff in preparation of the City"s Budget Guidelines and Finan..cial Policies; and
VV'HE.R..EAS, the Budget Committee has met: and recommends amendments to the
current Budget Guidelines and Financial Policies for City Ccn~lncil consideration.
NOVV THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the city of
Fairfax the adoption of the attached City of Fairfax ""Budget Guidelines"" and ....Financial
Policies'''' as amended and dated November 25" 2008.
