CONSTITUIONAL OFFICER A~ DEPUTY INCENTIVE PAY PLAN
""HERE-AS, the CommoI1vvealth of Virginia has implemented an incentive pay program ror
Constitutional Officers and their deputies based on the achievement or specific criteria in the
areas of education and job performance as specified in the Compensation Board approved
career development programs; and
V\7I-IEREAS., education and job performance are a direct benefit to the citizens or the City oT
Fairfax; and
"VVHEREAS., the Commonvvealth or Virginia, through the Compensation Board, vvill directly
reimburse the City or Fairrax ror the incentive pay;
NOVV. TIIEREFORE. IT IS IIEREB~ RESOLVED that a=y such Constitutional Officer
of the City or Fairfax or their deputies vvho meets the requirements or such incentive pay plan
enacted by the Commoll'VVealth of Virginia shall be a~arded the incentive pay amount
reimbursed by the Compensation Board to the City of Fairfax; and it is further
RES<>LVED~ that the incentive pay ~ill be paid to such Constit-utional Officer or their
deputies on an annual basis at the end of each fiscal year; and it is further
RESOLVED. that the payment vvill be administered through the City of Fairfax payroll
system as an incentive a~ard_
