AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY lVlANAGER TO EXECUTE A FIRST
AlVlENDlVlENT TO THE DEED OF LEASE DATED lVlARCH 27, 2007 BY AND
BETVVEEN THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, AND lVlAIN STREET CHILD
DEVELOPlVlENT CENTER, INC. FOR THE PRElVlISES LOCATED AT 4401
SIDE BURN ROAD (FORJVlER GREEN ACRES ELElVlENT AR V SCHOOL)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX,
VIRGINIA (hereinafter referred to as "'CITY"") that the City l\,;1anager is hereby authoriz.ed
and directed to execute" VV'ith the concurrence or the City Attomey" a First Amendment to
Deed or Lease, further amending the Deed or Lease dated l'v1arch 27" 2007" bctvveen the City"
as Landlord" and :M:ain Street Child Development Center" Inc." as Tenan-t:" for the Premises
located at 4401 Sideburn Road" Fairfax" Virginia (the former Green Acres Elementary
School)" subject to the conditions ar1d restrictions contained in such First Amerrdmen.t 1:0 Deed
or Lease. The form of such First Amendment to Deed oT Lease shall be substantially oE the
form attached to this Ordinance" subject to such reasonable modifications as made by the City
l'V'lanager" -vvith the concurrence of the City Attorney_
This ordinance shall become effective as provided by la"VV.
