AN ORDINANCE AlVIENDING CIIAPTER 2. SECTION 2-77 OF TIIE CODE OF
TIIE CITY OF FAIRFAX. VIRGINIA. PERTAINING TO PERSONS SUBJECT TO
FILING A DISCLOSURE OF INTERESTS
BE IT ORDAINED. by the City Council of the City of Fairfax. Virginia. that Chapter 2.
Section 2-77 of the Code of the City of Fairfax" Virginia", is hereby deleted in its entirety and
replaced V\.Tith the follovving:
Sec. 2-77. Persons subject to scope of division.
This division encompasses the mayor and the members of the city council, the
planning commission, the school board, the board of zoning appeals, the real estate assessor".
the board of architectural revievv, the ci'ty manager, city attomey, commissioner of the
revenue, treasurer, all department heads and their deputies,. V\Thich vvould include: assistant
city manager/finance director; chief of fire &. rescue services; assistant chief fire &. rescue;
chief of police; major deputy chief of police; director community development. & planning;
deputy director, community development & planning; director of information technology;
assistant director of information technology; director of public vvorks; director of utilities;
assistant director of utilities; assistant director of finance; and director of parks and recreation.
This ordinance shall become effective as required by la-vv.
