AN ORDINANCE AUTFIOR.IZING TFIE CITY lVIANAGER TO EXECUTE A LEASE
ON BEFIALF OF TFIE CITY OF FAIRFAX VVITH lVIAIN STREET CHILD
DEVELOPlVIENT CENTER. INC. FOR A PORTION OF TFIE FORlVIER GREEN
ACRES ELElVIENTARY SCFIOOL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 4401 SIDEBURN
ROAD IN TFIE CITY OF FAIRFAX

School property located at 4401 Sidehum Road in the City; and
'V\7I-:IER.EAS, the City Council has determined that it is in the best interest of the City
to negotiate and enter into a lease vv-ith the lV1ain Street Child Development: Cen.ter" Inc.
(hereinafter referred to as :M.:ain Street) property, for use as a pre-school child care center.
NOVY. TFIEREFORE. BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Virginia" that the City JV[anager is autl"1orized to execute a lease on behalf" or the City
vvith M:ain Street for a portion of the former Green Acres School property located at 4401
Sidebum Road" in substantially the forrT1 of the lease attached to this ordinance at Exhibit A_
BE IT FURTFIER ORDAINED. that the City :M:anager is authorized to make any
changes or amendments to the form of the lease, provided that the amendments are accept.able
to the City l\I1anager and approved as to form by the City Attomey.
This ordinance shall become effective as provided by la"\N'.
