AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 98, ARTICLE III,
SECTION 98-215 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX,
VIRGINIA BY ADDING THERETO A NEW SUBSECTION (15),
ESTABLISHING A PERMIT PARKING DISTRICT
WHEREAS, in accordance with section 98-209 of the Code of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia, the City Manager has recommended a Permit Parking District as described herein;
and
WHEREAS, after introduction of an ordinance and a public hearing, the City Council
is of the opinion that the requirements of Chapter 98, Article II, have been met and the area
designated herein qualifies as a permit-parking district.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council of the
City of Fairfax, Virginia, that section 98-215 of the Code of the City of
Fairfax, Virginia is hereby amended by the addition hereto of subsection
(15) to read in its entirety as follows:
"(15) On Queen Ann Drive (3500-3519) from its intersection
with Colony Road to its intersection with Old Lee Highway."
This ordinance shall become effective as provided by law.
