DESIGNATION OF FY 2005-06 REVENUE SHARING PROGRAM FUNDS
At a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia,
July 12, 2005, at which meeting a quorum was present and voting, the following
:solution was adopted.
WHEREAS, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has indicated
the City may designate up to $500,000 in City funds to be matched by FY 2005-06
)OT Revenue Sharing Program Funds, for improvements to the City's Urban Road
and
WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax desires to fully participate in the FY 2005-06
Revenue Sharing Program, and
WHEREAS, VDOT has requested that these funds be designated for specific
ects;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT BE RESOLVED, that the City of the City of
~airfax, hereby designates a maximum of $500,000 in FY 2005-06 VDOT Revenue Sharing
and $500,000 in matching City funds from the City's general funds, for a total of
.000,000, towards funding the design of the following projects:

1. Storm Drainage At Lee/Oak/Meredith
2. Park Road Sidewalk
3. Route 123 at Cedar Ave. Sidewalk
4. George Mason Boulevard
5. Traffic Signal Improvements
