AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 30, ARTICLE
II, DIVISION 1, SECTION 30-31(2) OF THE CODE OF
THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, PERTAINING TO
THE POLLING PLACE FOR PRECINCT TWO.
BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, that Chapter 30,
Article II, Division 1, Section 30-31(2) of the Code of the City of Fairfax, Virginia, is hereby
amended to read in its entirety as follows:
ARTICLE II. PRECINCTS
DIVISION 1. GENERALLY
Section 30-31.
Boundaries of voter election precincts; polling places.
The boundaries for the voter election precincts in the city and the locations of the polling
places shall be as follows:
(2) Precinct two. Beginning at a point marking the intersection of Main Street (Route
236) and Old Lee Highway at a midpoint in the road, following a northeasterly direction
along Old Lee Highway until it intersects with Rebel Run at a midpoint in the road:
following Rebel Run until it intersects with Lee Highway (Routes 29 and 50) at a midpoint in
the road; following Lee Highway in a westerly direction until it intersects with Main Street in
the vicinity of Kamp Washington; then proceeding in a southeasterly direction on Main
Street until it intersects with Old Lee Highway at a midpoint in the road. The polling place is
located at the Mennonite Church, 3729 Old Lee Highway.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this ordinance shall become effective upon
adoption as provided by law.
