AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 98,
ARTICLE IV, DIVISION 3, SECTION 98-215 OF THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA
BY ADDING THERETO A NEW SECTION (14),
ESTABLISHING A PERMIT PARKING DISTRICT
WHEREAS, in accordance with sections 98-207 and 98-209 of the Code of the City
of Fair'fax, Virginia, the City Manager has recommended a Permit Parking District as
described herein: and
WHEREAS, after introduction of an ordinance and a public hearing, the City Council
is of the opinion that the requirements of Chapter 98, Article IV, Division 3 have been
met and the area designated herein qualifies as a permit parking district.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council of the City Of
Fairfax, Virginia, that section 98-215 of the Code of the City Of Fairfax,
Virginia is hereby amended by the addition thereto of subsection (14) to read
in its entirety as follows:
"(14) on both sides of Brookwood Drive from the intersection with Old
Lee Highway to the intersection with Spring Lake Terrace."
2. This ordinance shall become effective as provided by law.
