AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 98-19 (a), ARTICLE I, CHAPTER 98 OF
THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA PERTAINING TO
TRUCKS PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS; TRUCK ROUTES.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia, that Section
98-19 (a), Article I, Chapter 98 of the Code of the City of Fairfax, Virginia is hereby amended
to read in its entirety as follows:
Sec. 98-19. Trucks prohibited on certain streets; truck routes.
(a) Truck traffic is hereby forbidden on the following streets within the city except for the
purpose of receiving loads or making deliveries on such streets within the city:

Carol Street from Jermantown Road to Anne Street.
Norman Avenue from the service road to Route 123 to dead-end.
McLean Avenue from Warwick Avenue to Orchard Street.
Oak Street from Route 29 south to Route 236.
Cedar Avenue from Oak Street east to Route 123.
Keith Avenue from Route 236 north to Cedar Avenue.
