ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA
TO EXECUTE A DEED AND ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY
TO CONVEY TO THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA,
THE CITY'S INTEREST IN 0.001 ACRES, MORE OR LESS,
OF REAL ESTATE LOCATED ON VDOT PARCEL 002
ADJACENT TO ROUTE 29/50 (LEE HIGHWAY)
BETWEEN EATON PLACE AND DRAPER DRIVE TOGETHER
WITH A PERI~tNENT EASEMENT FOR THE PROPER
CONSTRUCTION /~ND MAINTENANCE OF A DRAIN OUTLET
DITCH AND TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENTS FOR
STATE HIGHWAY PROJECT 0029-151-103v RW201
BE IT ORDAINED by the city Council of the city of
Fairfax, Virginia that the city Manager is hereby
authorized to execute a deed (the "Deed"), approved as
to form by the city Attorney, necessary for the city of
Fairfax, virginia (the "City") to convey to the
Commonwealth of Virginia (the ,,Commonwealth"), for the
consideration of One Dollar ($1.00), the city's fee
simple interest in 0.001 acres, more or less, (the
,,Property") of real estate owned by the city and
further described as Tax Map Parcel Number 47-4-((2))-
2B, which Property is needed by the Commonwealth for
the widening of State Route 29/50 (Lee Highway) for
State Highway Project 0029-151-103, RW201. The
Property is further described as Parcel 002, as shown
on Sheet 4, of the Route 29/50 State Highway Project
0029-151-103, RW201, prepared by Espey, Huston &
Associates and most currently revised by VDOT on May 9,
1995 (the "Plan").
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that, by the Deed, the city
shall convey to the Commonwealth the permanent right
and easement to use additional areas shown on the Plan,
containing 0.10 acres, more or less, required by the
Commonwealth for the construction and maintenance of a
drain outlet ditch, and the temporary right and
easement to use additional areas shown on the Plan,
containing 0.25 acres, more or less, for the
construction of cut and/or fill slopes.

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the City Manager is
authorized to execute all other documents as may be
necessary to convey the Property and the easements
described herein to the Commonwealth.
This ordinance shall become effective as provided
by law.
