AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
FOR THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 15.1-454 and Section 15.1-448 of
the Code of Virginia (the "Code") and City Resolution R-89-14, the
Planning Commission conducted a biennial review of the
Comprehensive Plan (the "Plan"); and
WHEREAS, at a public hearing held on November 12, 1990, the
Planning Commission heard testimony concerning amendments to the
Plan, and made recommendations for amending the Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on December
18, 1990, pursuant to Section 15.1-448 of the Code to receive
testimony on the proposed Plan amendments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is advisable~
to amend the Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City
of Fairfax, Virginia, on this 18th day of December, 1990, that the
Comprehensive Plan adopted November 29, 1988, is hereby amended by
the incorporation of the attached pages 4-2a and 4-2b into the
Environment section.
