AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 26-4 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY
OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA TO INCORPORATE ADDITIONAL DEFINITIONS
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia, that Section 26-4 of the Code of the City of
Fairfax, Virginia, be amended to incorporate the following
definitions:
"Dwelling, Multi-family: A dwelling containing more than two
(2) dwelling units.
Dwelling, Single-family Attached: A one-family dwelling
physically connected to at least one other one-family
dwelling, each of which has its own front access to the
outside, no unit is located above another unit and each unit
is separate from other units by one or more fire resistant
walls. This definition shall include, but is not limited to
semi-detached dwellings and townhouse dwellings.
Ministorage Warehouse: A building consisting of small
individual, self-contained units that are leased or owned for
the storage of business and household goods.
Open Space, Public: Open space owned by a public agency and
maintained by it for the use and enjoyment of the general
public."
This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its
adoption.
