AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 25-3, ARTICLE I,
CHAPTER 25 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX,
VIRGINIA, PERTAINING TO USE OF AIRGUNS WITHIN
THE CITY LIMITS AND PROHIBITING SUCH USE TO
INJURE WILDLIFE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the city Council of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia, that Section 25-3, Article I, Chapter 25 of the Code of
the City of Fairfax, Virginia, is hereby amended as follows:
Section 25-3. Use of Air Guns, Slinqshots, etc.
No person shall use within the city any instrument for
projecting missiles liable to do any injury to persons, or
property, or wildlife, such as an air gun, BB gun, slingshot or
other similar instrument.
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
execution by the Mayor.
