AN ORDINANCE AMENDING FAIRFAX CITY CODE ARTICLE III PERTAINING TO THE FIRE
PREVENTION CODE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia, that
Fairfax City Code Article III be amended as follows:
Sec. 9-13. Adopted.
(a) There is hereby adopted by the city council, for the purpose
of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life
and property from fire or explosion, that certain Code known as
the Virginia Statewide Fire Prevention Code, and the same is here-
by incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein.
(b) A reasonable number of copies of said Code but not less than
one copy will be on file in the Office of the city fire marshall
and available for inspection between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and
5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, inclusive, except for legal
holidays.
Sec. 9-14, Amendments; additions; deletions, is hereby deleted in its
entirety.
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its execution by the
Mayor.
