AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 26-46 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF
FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA TO PRO}~IBIT CERTAIN DISPLAYS OF VEHICV.V.q.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia that
Section 26-46 of the Code of the City of Fairfax, Virginia be and hereby is
amended as follows:
1. Amend the title of Section 26-46 by inserting the words "and
displays" after the word "Signs."
2. Amend Section 26-46 by adding paragraPh 26-46 (p) which shall read
in its entirety as follc~s:
"Any display of vehicles with open hoods, trunks, and/or doors; in
an elevated position; perched atop a building; or at a precarious
angle or in such other unusual position."
This ordinance shall becc~m~ effective immediately upon its execution by
the Mayor.
