AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17-16.1 OF THE CODE OF
THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA PERTAINING TO THE
RETIREMENT PLAN FOR PUBLIC SAFETY EMPLOYEES.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Fairfax,
Virginia, that Section 17-16.1 of the Code of the City of
Fairfax, Virginia be and hereby is amended to read in its
entirety as follows:
"Sec. 17-16.1.
Retirement Plan for Public Safet~
Emplo~;ee s.
"The retirement plan for public safety employees of
the City is hereby amended, restated, adopted and
incorporated by reference herein as if set out in
full. Said retirement plan shall govern all rights
and responsibilities of the City and its public safety
employees. Copies of said plan shall be maintained
and made available at the office of the City Manager
(September 9, 1986)."
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its
execution by the Mayor.
