AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 26-204 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF
FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, PERTAINING TO THE BOARD OF ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Fairfax, Virginia, that
Section 26-204 of the Code of the City of Fairfax, Virginia, be and hereby is
amended as follows:
1. The first sentence of Section 26-204 is amended to read in its en-
tirety as follows:
"For the purpose of making effective the provisions of this article,
there is hereby created a board to be known as the board of archi-
tectural review, to be composed of eight (8) voting members."
2. The fourth sentence of Section 26-204 is amended to read in its en-
tirety as follows:
"One appointee shall be selected from among the membership of the
Planning Commission."
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its execution by
the Mayor.
