19820309 1982-12 ORDI~I~qCE NO. 1982-12 AN ORDINanCE ~.~lqDING SUBSECTION (b) OF SECTION 26-12 OF ~ CODE OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia that the first paragraph of subsection (b) of Section 26-12 is hereby amended to delete the word "private" so that the first paragraph of subsection (b) of Section 26-12 shall read in its entirety as follows: "(b) Antennae structures and towers for radio or television reception or transmission (hereinafter referred to as radio/television structures) shall in no case exceed a maximumheight of sixty-five feet measured frcmground level to the highest point of such radio/television structure. In the event the vertical dimension of any such radio/ television structure exceeds twelve feet, the placement and location of such radio/television structure shall be subject to the approval of the zoning administrator, who shall coordinate this decision with the chief building inspector. The zoning administrator shall employ the following standards and criteria in deteznfuning whether to approve any proposed placement or location of such a radio/television structure pursuant hereto;" This ordinance shall beceme effective ir~nediately upon adoption.
