19820608 1982-19ORDINANCE NO. 1982-19 AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THE ORDINANCE AFFECTING ANCILLARY USES IN RESTAURANTS IN CHAPTER 26 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia, that the effective date of the ordinance amendments affecting ancillary uses in restaurants, that is, amendments to Sections 26-4, 26-104, 26-166, 26-170.1, 26-171,26-175.1 and 26-176 of Chapter 26 of the Code of the City of Fairfax, Virginia, passed Tuesday, June 1, 1982, is hereby extended to June 30, 1982. In the opinion of the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia, an emergency exists due to the advertised and scheduled consideration of a number of special use permits for ancillary use in restaurants before the Board of Zoning Appeals which special use permits must be heard before the City Council, necessitating timely readvertising. Accordingly, this ordinance is adopted by a two-thirds affirmative vote of the members of the City Council present and it shall become effective immediately. Adopted: ATTEST: June 8, 1982 Mayor City
