AN ORDINANCE AMENDING S~CTION 1-2 OF THE CODE
OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia, that Section 1-2 of the Code of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia, be and the same is hereby amended to add the term
"Public services" in the proper alphabetical order as follows:
"Public services. The phrase "public services"
shall include the phrase "public works" and any
successor department or agency with the same
or similar responsibilities."
This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
adoption.
