AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 18-4 OF THE CODE
OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of
Fairfax, Virginia that Section 18-4 of the Code of the City of
Fairfax, Virginia be and the same is hereby amended to read in
its entirety as follows:
"Sec. 18-4. Obstructin~_justic_e_~bl_threats or force.
If any person, by threats, or force, attempts to
intimidate or impede a judge, magistrate, justice,
juror, witness, or an officer of a court, or any
law-enforcement officer, in the discharge of his
duty, or to obstruct or impede the administration of
justice in any court, he shall be deemed to be guilty
of a class 1 misdemeanor."
This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its
execution by the Mayor.
