AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING LOOSELEAF SUPPLEMENT NO. 3 TO THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA.
WHEREAS, the City Council has deemed it advisable to
include recently adopted code amendments within the body of the
1978 Code of the City of Fairfax, Virginia and, accordingly,
has caused to be published "Supplement No. 3" to the 1978 Code
of the City of Fairfax, Virginia by the Municipal Code
Corporation, incorporating said amendments within the body of
the code; and
WHEREAS, certain typographical errors have been corrected
and Chapter 11.2 of the Code has been incorporated into Chapter
11 of the Code; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to adopt the
said corrections and recodification.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of
Fairfax, Virginia, as follows:
1. There is hereby adopted that certain code supplement
entitled "Supplement No. 3, Code of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia" published by the Municipal Code Corporation
containing certain amendments to the Code previously adopted by
ordinance.
2. There is hereby adopted a recodification of Chapters
11 and 11.2 of the Code of the City of Fairfax, Virginia into
one chapter numbered Chapter 11 and entitled "Health, Safety
and Sanitation," a copy of said recodification is attached
hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
execution by the Mayor.
