AN ORDINANCE INVITING BIDS PROVIDING CABLE COMMUNICATION
SERVICES TO THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA.
BE IT ORDAINED, by the City Council for the City of
Fairfax, Virginia that the following legal notice be duly
advertised in accordance with Virginia Code, Section 15.1-309:
LEGAL NOT ICE
The City of Fairfax, Virginia hereby invites bids for a
franchise providing cable communication services to the City of
Fairfax, Virginia in accordance with the Request for Proposals
prepared by CTIC Associates and adopted by the City Council on
October 12, 1982. Such franchise is proposed to be granted by
the attached ordinance. All bids are to be in writing and
delivered, in open session, to the Mayor on January 14, 1983 at
2:00 p.m. All bids shall be accompanied by a certified check
in the ful 1 amount of the bid made payable to the City of
Fairfax, Virginia. The City reserves the right to reject any
and all bids. The successful bidder shall be required to pay
all costs of advertising the franchise in addition to the sum
bid by it.
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its
execution by the Mayor.
