AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9-14
OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA
TO ADD A NEW SECTION 9-14(a) (7.1)
BE IT ORDAINED by the City of Fairfax, Virginia, that Section
9-14, Code of the City of Fairfax, Virginia, be and is hereby
amended to add a new Section 9-14(a) (7.1) as follows:
"(7.1) F-311.1 Designation: Add the following sentence: To
provide sufficient notice to the public, signs designating such
fire lanes shall be placed no more than seventy-five (75) feet
apart or the entrances to the parking lots may be posted with
appropriate signs notifying the public of the fire lanes and the
curbs painted yellow to designate the lanes."
This amendment shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia.
