AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9-14
OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA
TO ADD A NEW SECTION 9-14(a)(19.1)
BE IT ORDAINED by the City of Fairfax, Virginia, that Section
9.14, Code of the City of Fairfax, Virginia, be and is hereby
amended to add a new Section 9-14(a) (19.1) as follows:
"(19.1) F-1702.2 Special Motor Fuel Dispensers: Delete and
substitute the following: Special type motor fuel dispensers suck
as coin operated devices for self-service operations shall have
the approval of the fire marshal and shall be installed and oper~
ated in accordance with the standards listed in Appendix B, except
that no such device shall be operated at any time unless there is
present on the premises an attendant familiar with the location
of pump controls and the operation of safety equipment."
This amendment shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia.
