AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2-35 OF ARTICLE VII
IN CHAPTER 2 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX,
VIRGINIA,TO ADD TO THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE COMMUNITY
APPEARANCE COMMITTEE
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia, that Section 2-35 of Article VII in Chapter 2 of the
Code of the City of Fairfax, Virginia, be and it hereby is amended
to add to the membership of the Community Appearance Committee as
follows:
1)
Amend the first sentence in the first paragraph
to substitute "eleven (11) members" for "nine (9)
members."
2)
Amend the first sentence in the second paragraph
to add the following between the words "City
Council," and the words "and one member":
"one member from the membership of the Planning
Commission,"
3)
Amend the first sentence in the fourth paragraph
to add the following between the words "City
Council" and the words "shall coincide" and as
the ending for that sentence:
"and the Planning Commission."
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption by the City Council.
