AN ORDINANCE ENACTING SECTION 14-9.1 OF THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia that Chapter 14 of the Code of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia be and the same is amended to include a new section
14-9.1 to read in its entirety as follows:
"Sec. 14-9.1 Alcoholic beverages in public parks and public
school grounds or facilities.
It shall be unlawful for any person to possess on or about
his person or effects or within any vehicle any alcoholic beverages
any public park, public school ground or public school
.y located in the City. Violation of this Section shall be
punishable as a Class 4 misdemeanor."
This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia.
