AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND REENACT SECTION 13-81
OF THE FAIRFAX CITY CODE
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia that Section 13-81 of the Code of the City of Fairfax be,
and it hereby is, amended and reenacted to read in its entirety
as follows:
"Sec. 13-81.
Driving motor vehicle, engine, etc., while
intoxicated.
"It shall be unlawful for any person to drive or operate
any motor vehicle, engine or train while under the influence of
alcohol, or while under the influence of any narcotic drug or any
other self-administered intoxicant or drug of whatsoever nature.
For the purposes of this section, the term "motor vehicle" shall
include pedal bicycles With helper motors, while operated on the
public highways of this City."
This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its adoptio
