AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 11 OF THE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA TO
ADD A NEW SUBSECTION TO THE C-1L, C-1 and C-2
ZONES TO ALLOW SCHOOLS OF GENERAL INSTRUCTION
AND NURSERY SCHOOLS BY SPECIAL USE PERMIT.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia, that the C-1L, C-1 and C-2 Zones of Section 11 of the
Zoning Ordinance of the City of Fairfax, Virginia, be and they
hereby are amended as follows:
Add the following to the uses under Subsection "B" in the
C-1L, C-1 and C-2 Zones:
"Schools of general instruction and nursery schools
complying with the provisions of Section 14 of this
ordinance."
This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia.
