19750107 1975-1 ORDINANCE NO. 1975-1 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 13-65 OF THE FAIRFAX CITY CODE BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Fairfax~ Virginia that Section 13-65 of the Code of the City of Fairfax be, and hereby is, amended and reenacted to read in its entirety as follows: "Sec. 13-65. Suspension of operator's~ etc.~ license upon con- viction of reckless driving--Generally. "In addition to the penalties for reckless driving prescribed in section 13-74, any court may suspend any license issued to a convicted person under chapter 5 (section 46.1-348 et seq.) of Code of Virginia, title 46.1, for a period of not less than ten days nor more than six months, and such court shall require the convicted person to surrender his license so suspended to the cour where it shall be disposed of in accordance with section 13-67. "If a person convicted has not obtained the license required by such chapter or is a nonresident, the court may direct, in the judgment of conviction, that such person shall not, for a period o not less than ten days or more than six months, as may be prescrib in the judgment, drive or operate any motor vehicle in this state. The court or the clerk of court shall transmit the license to the commissioner, along with the report of the conviction required to sent to the division."
