19750107 1975-2 ORDINANCE NO. 1975-2 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 13-66 OF THE FAIRFAX CITY CODE BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia that Section 13-66 of the Code of the City of Fairfax be, and hereby is, amended and reenacted to read in its entirety as follows: "Sec. 13-66. Same--Reckless driving for exceedin8 speed of sixty-five or seventy-five miles per hour. "When any person shall be convicted of reckless driving for exceeding a speed of sixty-five or seventy-five miles per hour, as the case may be, upon the streets or highways of this city under section 13-71 or 13-72, then in addition to any other penalties pr, vided by law, the operator's or chauffeur's license of such person may be suspended by the court or judge for a period of not less than sixty days nor more than six months. In case of conviction, the court or judge shall order the surrender of the license to the court, where it shall be disposed of in accordance with the pro- visions of section 13-67. If such person so convicted has not obtained a license required by Code of Virginia, chapter 5 (sectior 46.1-348 et seq.), title 46.1 or is a nonresident, such court shall direct, in the judgment of conviction, that such person shall not drive or operate any motor vehicle in this state for a period of not less than sixty days nor more than six months."
