19750304 1975-70 R D I N A N C E NO. 1975-7 WHEREAS, the City of Fairfax has constructed a reservoir on Beaverdam Creek, a tributary of Goose Creek, in Loudoun County; and WHEREAS, the Virginia Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries has stocked the Beaverdam Creek Reservoir with large and small mouth bass and other pan fish; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City to limit the minimum permissible length of large and small mouth bass creeled to be twelve (12) inches; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City to have the Virginia Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries, through its local Game Warden, enforce the length limitation; NOW, THEREFORE, BE I~ ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, that no large or small mouth bass less than 12 inches in length be creeled from the Beaverdam Creek reservoir and the local Game Warden of the Virginia Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries be authorized to enforce the length limitation asprovided by State Law.
