AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14-16
OF THE FAIRFAX CITY CODE
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia that Section 14-16 of the Code of the City of Fairfax be,
and hereby is, amended and reenacted to read in its entirety as
follows:
"Sec. 14-16. Petit larceny.
"No person shall steal, from the person of another, any money
or other thine of a value of less than five dollars, and no person
shall steal money or other thing of a value less than one hundred
dollars not from the person of another."
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
