AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND REENACTING
PARAGRAPH 5 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1975-34,
ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH
WATER CONNECTION FEES AND AVAILABILITY
AND FRONTAGE CHARGES".
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia, that Paragraph 5 of Ordinance No. 1975-34, entitled,
"An ordinance to establish water connection fees and availability
and frontage charges," be and it hereby is amended and reenacted to
read in its entirety as follows:
"5. The rates shall be applicable to all new construction
connection, availability and frontage applications made after
August 1, 1975. Existing dwelling, office, or commercial
buildings shall be required to pay only those fees and rates in
effect on July 14, 1975."
This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its
adoption.
