AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 1 OF THE
FAIRFAX CITY CODE TO PROVIDE FOR
A NEW SECTION 1-7.1
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the City Council of the
City of Fairfax, Virginia, that Chapter 1 of the Code
of the City of Fairfax be and the same hereby is amended to
provide for a new section 1-7 1 which will read in its
entirety as follows:
"Sec. 1-7.1. Unclassified offenseS; how punished.
"Offenses defined in this Code or in any ordinance
or resolution of the city or rule or regulation or order
promulgated by an officer or agency of the city under
authority duly vested in him or it, for which punishment
is prescribed without specification as to the class of
the offense, shall be punished according to the punishment
prescribed in such section or sections."
