AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14-9
OF THE FAIRFAX CITY CODE
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Virginia that Section 14-9 of the Code of the
City of Fairfax be, and hereby is, amended and reenacted
to read in its entirety as follows:
"Sec. 14-9. Drunk in public.
"Any person who shall be found drunk upon the street
or in any place open to public gathering within the city
shall be taken into custody until sober and shall be
deemed guilty of a class 4 misdemeanor.
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
