AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF THE
CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, TO CHANGE THE
NAME OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Virginia, that the Code of the City of Fairfax, Virginia,
be and it hereby is amended as follows:
1. To substitute the title "Department of Public
Services" for the title "Department of Public Works" wherever
that title appears in the Code of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia.
2. To substitute the title, "Director of Public
Services" for the title "Director of Public Works" wherever
that title appears in the Code of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia.
This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
passage by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia.
