AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, TO PROVIDE A MINIMUM AREA REQUIREMENT
FOR ALL USES IN THE C-3 ZONE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia,
that the C-3 Zone in Section 11 (Schedule) of the Zoning Ordinance of the
City of Fairfax, Virginia, be amended by deleting in Section C thereof the
following language:
"1. Lot area: None required, except that there shall be a
minimum of twenty-two thousand (22,000) square feet for an ~utomobile
service station."
and substituting therefor the following language:
"1. Lot area: None required for uses permitted in Commercial-1
and Commercial-2 zones. Twenty-two thousand (22,000) square feet
minimum for each other use.
And be it further ordained that footnote "j" appearing in the
Key on Page 11-13 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Fairfax, Virginia,
be and it hereby is deleted in its entirety.
This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage
by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia.
