AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF THE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA TO
ADD A DEFINITION FOR DANCING AREA.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City
of Fairfax, Virginia, that Section 2 of the Zoning Ordinance
of the City of Fairfax, Virginia, be amended by adding the
following definition immediately after the definition of
customary home occupation and immediately before the defini-
tion of developer:
"DANCING AREA: Any area that is operated in con-
junction with and ancillary to a restaurant, pro-
vided that the area designated for dancing (includ-
ing any area used to provide music for said dancing)
shall not exceed twenty-five percent of the gross
floor area of the restaurant."
This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
passage by the City Council of the City of Fairfax, Virginia.
