AN ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 6-44.1 TO THE CODE OF
THE CITY OF FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA, TO ALLOW THE CITY
MANAGER TO WAIVE FEES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF MUNI-
CIPAL, COUNTY OR STATE BUILDINGS, INCLUDING SCHOOLS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of
Fairfax, Virginia, that the Code of the City of Fairfax,
Virginia, be amended by adding a section numbered 6-44.1 as
follows:
"Sec. 6-44.1. Waiver of fees for the construction of
municipal, county or state buildings,
includin~ schools.
"The city manager is authorized to waive all fees
imposed by this chapter for the construction of munici-
pal, county or state buildings, including schools."
This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
its passage.
